Clayton Matheson’s practice focuses on litigation matters, with a particular emphasis on the insurance industry.  Mr. Matheson primarily represents insurance companies in first- and third-party coverage disputes and bad faith lawsuits.

A Texas native, Mr. Matheson received his B.A. magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 2005.  In 2010, he received his J.D. with honors from the University of Texas School of Law, where he was a Townes-Rice Scholar and a member of the Texas Law Review.

Before attending law school, Mr. Matheson worked for three years in Washington D.C., as an analyst for the House Committee on Energy and Commerce’s Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations.

Mr. Matheson is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Federal Bar Association, the Texas Young Lawyers Association, the San Antonio Bar Association and the San Antonio Young Lawyer’s Association.
