Caitlin Nelson practices in the area of corporate and securities law, with an emphasis on the formation and operation of U.S. domestic and offshore private investment funds. Ms. Nelson advises clients on conducting private placements, registration with governmental authorities and other securities law compliance issues. Her practice also includes assisting clients in drafting management entity governing documents for various fund management structures and advising on related issues.
Ms. Nelson received her B.A. magna cum laude in economics and political science in 2006 from Trinity University and her J.D. magna cum laude in 2009 from Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas.
