David E. Altschuler’s practice focuses primarily on litigation.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Altschuler served as a law clerk to the Honorable Michael B. Mukasey of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. From 2004 to 2005, Mr. Altschuler was associated with the law firm of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP.
Mr. Altschuler received his B.A. magna cum laude in 2000 from Yale University, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He received his J.D. cum laude in 2004 from Harvard Law School, where he served as vice president of the Board of Student Advisers and a supervising editor of the Journal on Legislation.
Mr. Altschuler is admitted in New York only, practicing under the supervision of the partners of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
