Diana Gillis focuses her practice on commercial litigation and antitrust matters.
Prior to joining Akin Gump, Ms. Gillis was an Honors Paralegal in the Federal Trade Commission’s Bureau of Competition, where she assisted attorneys and economists in Hart-Scott-Rodino and non-merger investigations in diverse industries, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, oil and gas, and telecommunications.
Ms. Gillis received her B.A. magna cum laude in public policy and political science in 2004 from William Smith College, where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Pi Sigma Alpha Honor Society. In 2010, she received her J.D. from Georgetown University, where she was a member of the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics. During law school, she served as a law clerk in the Antitrust Division of the Department of Justice. She received the American Bar Association 2008 Section of Antitrust Fellowship Award and is active in the Antitrust Section of the ABA.
