Dmitry Maltsev focuses on analysis and drafting of legal and transactional documents, preparation of legal opinions and memoranda on various legal issues involving asset management and construction matters. Mr. Maltsev is regularly involved in negotiations with the clients and counterparties.
Mr. Maltsev’s experience includes—
- providing due diligence reviews for international and local investors in connection with acquisition and disposal of real property
- providing legal support for real estate transactions (leases, acquisitions, mortgages, management agreements, etc.)
- drafting transactional documents for direct asset sale and corporate acquisition transactions
- analyzing and drafting construction and development management documents.
Mr. Maltsev has spoken at a number of client training sessions on real estate and development matters and has coauthored a number of legal articles addressing real estate issues.
Prior to joining Akin Gump, Mr. Maltsev was an associate in the Moscow offices of an international law firm. He graduated from Moscow State University in 2007. A native Russian speaker, Mr. Maltsev is fluent in English.
