J. David Park serves as head of the firm’s Korea practice and is also a partner in the firm’s international trade practice. In addition, Mr. Park is the co-leader of the Washington office’s diversity committee, and also sits on the firm’s diversity committee.

Mr. Park advises U.S. and international clients on a variety of international trade issues, including trade remedies litigation, U.S. customs law, WTO disputes, and trade policy matters. He represents clients before the U.S. Department of Commerce, the U.S. International Trade Commission, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the Court of International Trade and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Mr. Park has achieved a number of significant victories on behalf of his clients in major trade remedies litigation cases and was most recently recognized for his achievements in the 2008 and 2009 editions of the Legal 500.

Mr. Park received his B.A. in international relations from Tufts University in 1993 and his J.D. from Boston University in 1996, where he was a member of the National Appellate Advocacy moot court team. While in law school, Mr. Park clerked for the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office, Public Protection Bureau. Mr. Park also received an LL.M. in international and comparative law from Georgetown University. He is a member of the District of Columbia Bar and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of International Trade and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Mr. Park has recently been recognized by Chambers Asia: Asia's Leading Lawyers for Business as a top international trade lawyer.  In addition, Mr. Park was recently honored by Law360 as a “Rising Star” among international trade lawyers under age 40.

Mr. Park has lived in Seoul, Korea; Lagos, Nigeria; Bogota, Colombia; Ottawa, Canada; and various parts of the United States. He is fluent in Korean.
