Tony Pierce Receives “Managing Partner of the Year Pathfinder Award” from AAMPGC

Tony Pierce, partner in charge of Akin’s Washington, D.C. office, has received the “Managing Partner of the Year Pathfinder Award” from the African-American Managing Partners and General Counsel Networks (AAMPGC).

Tony was recognized at the 13th Annual AAMPGC Dinner, following the Corporate Counsel Leadership Summit at the National Bar Association's (NBA) 98th Annual Convention, on July 31, 2023 in Minneapolis, MN.

The AAMPGC, which formed in 2010, is a network of more than 40 African-American lawyers in the United States who currently manage or have managed an Am Law 200 law firm or one of its offices.

Tony was recently recognized by the NBA among its inaugural Power 50 (learn more here) and by The Washington Post as its top leader in the category of large organizations as part of its annual Top Workplaces contest (learn more here).
