Anish N. Sheth has experience in debt finance, capital markets and derivatives. He has advised investment banks, asset managers, corporate investors, borrowers and other market parties on a wide variety of finance and derivatives issues in the United States and internationally.

Practice & Background

Mr. Sheth has advised on the creation and structure of various financing instruments, including structured securities, derivatives (for credit default, interest rate and currency risk), securities loans, guaranteed investment contracts and repurchase agreements. He has extensive experience with various asset securitizations, both in the United States and internationally, and in structuring collateralized loan obligations and other structured credit products. He has also worked at a New York-based international investment bank advising on primary market loans, loan participations and secondary market trading of distressed debt and other assets.

Prior to joining Akin Gump, Mr. Sheth was based in Hong Kong at an international commercial bank, advising the global markets business on debt financing, structured credit, derivatives and securitizations.
