Biography
  • Focuses on U.S. securities, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital markets, private equity investments and a broad range of financing transactions.

Ashish Alexander is an associate in the corporate team in London. He advises clients in relation to capital markets and U.S. securities matters. He also has experience in cross-border private equity and complex M&A transactions.

Prior to joining Akin Gump, Ashish worked at a leading Indian law firm in Mumbai and another U.S. firm in London.

Representative Work
  • Advised two of the largest British telecommunications companies on the £5.7 billion-equivalent loan and bond senior secured financing package in connection with their proposed £31.4 billion joint venture combination.*
  • Represented a leading telecommunications company on the bank/bond financing package for its $1.95 billion acquisition of an American multinational conglomerate holding company’s operations in Puerto Rico.*
  • Represented top tier private equity sponsors on several equity investments (primary infusions and secondary acquisitions) across industry sectors.*
  • Represented a leading Indian pharmaceutical group on its cross-border acquisition of a Spanish veterinary products manufacturer.*
