Beth Miller leads the firm’s global strategy to attract and retain the highest-caliber legal talent. She drives efforts to ensure that lawyers across the firm are reaching their full potential through the development, implementation and advancement of best-in-class legal talent management programs. She also collaborates closely with the firm’s diversity and inclusion and human resources teams to support inclusive efforts in recruiting and developing legal talent across the firm.

Beth has worked in the legal industry for over 20 years, with more than 15 years of experience in talent management. Prior to joining Akin Gump, she worked at two other international law firms. In these roles, she managed and developed strategies for law student and lateral attorney hiring, attorney development, retention and training, performance evaluations, women’s leadership initiatives, diversity and inclusion, onboarding, attorney compensation and mentoring programs. She began her career as a corporate and securities associate.
