Chip is an associate in the firm’s corporate practice. He assists public and private companies in mergers and acquisitions, securities, corporate governance and general corporate matters.

Prior to joining Akin Gump, Chip was an attorney at another major global law firm. His experience includes advising buyers and sellers in transactions involving traditional and alternative asset management firms, advising on the formation and operation of private investment funds and representing institutional investors in private fund transactions.

Chip earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, where he was a member of The Tax Lawyer.
