Lauren Marks focuses her practice on investment management matters, with an emphasis on fund management, fund formation and fund manager transactions.
Prior to joining Akin Gump, Lauren was an associate in the investment management group of another international law firm’s Dallas office.
Lauren received her J.D. from the Southern Methodist University (SMU) Dedman School of Law, graduating summa cum laude. During her time at law school, Lauren worked as the Symposium Editor of the SMU Law Review.
