Biography
• Advises on a broad range of financing transactions.
Tim Kennedy is an associate in the corporate finance group and works across a variety of financing transactions, including structured finance and securitisation.
Prior to joining Akin Gump, Tim worked at another international law firm, where he focused on structured and debt finance transactions.
Representative Work
- Acted for arrangers and lead managers in connection with privately placed commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) securitisations secured over property throughout Europe and issued via a Luxembourg special purpose vehicle (SPV).*
- Acted for arrangers and initial purchasers on a number of Irish-listed collateralised loan obligations (CLOs) involving Irish issuers.*
- Acted for the borrower in relation to a multicurrency loan-on-loan facility for the purposes of funding CMBS securitisations.*
