Akin Gump Advises Cinemark USA in Acquisition of Rave Cinemas

(Dallas) – Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP served as legal advisor to Cinemark USA, Inc. in its planned acquisition of Dallas-based Rave Cinemas. The $240 million deal includes substantially all of Rave’s assets, primarily consisting of 32 movie theaters with 483 screens in 12 states.
Completion of the transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory reviews.
