(Washington, D.C.) – The Legal 500 Latin America 2014 has ranked Akin Gump among the world’s top firms working in the area of Projects and Energy in that region.

Noting that the firm is a “big name in the oil and gas, power and renewable energy segments...[with] a strong record in mining and infrastructure projects,” The Legal 500 points to the firm’s work with Polaris Geothermal on “the development and financing of Nicaragua’s largest ever geothermal power plant, the San Jacinto project.”
