(Washington, D.C.) Akin Gump is pleased to announce that it has received two nominations for the 2014 Chambers USA Awards for Excellence: a team nomination in the Investment Funds category and an individual nomination for partner Jim Benjamin in the category White Collar Crime & Gov’t Investigations.  The results will be announced at an event in New York on May 22.

The awards are based on Chambers & Partners’ research for the 2014 edition of Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business and “reflect a law firm’s pre-eminence in key practice areas” as well as “notable achievements over the past 12 months including outstanding work, impressive strategic growth and excellence in client service.”
