Akin Vaults Into Top 20 in Annual Midlevel Associates Survey

(Washington, D.C.) Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP climbed 84 spaces to rank 13th nationally in the 2011 AmLaw Midlevel Associates Survey on associate satisfaction. The tremendous jump in the national rankings far outpaced that of any other firm in the top 20.
In addition to its top-tier national ranking, the firm was also ranked first in both the New York and Dallas markets, fifth in the Los Angeles market and eighth in the Houston market.

The Midlevel Associates Survey is based on responses received from over 5,300 third-, fourth- and fifth-year associates from more than 120 firms across the country. Rankings are based on responses to 12 questions contained in the survey, covering such topics as work satisfaction, training and guidance, and the firm’s attitude towards bro bono work, among other criteria.
