Erin Peters' practice focuses on corporate, securities and other transactional matters, with a particular focus on private equity. Ms. Peters assists clients with matters involving private equity fund formation, fund investment, venture capital investment, mergers and acquisitions, and structured finance transactions.
Prior to joining Akin Gump, Ms. Peters was an antitrust associate in the Washington, D.C. office of another law firm and an attorney for the Federal Trade Commission.
Ms. Peters received her B.B.A. with an emphasis in finance and accounting from the University of Michigan in 2000 and her J.D. in 2004 from Georgetown University Law Center. She is a member of the District of Columbia and New York bars.
