Gregory J. Granitto's practice focuses on complex civil litigation.

Prior to joining Akin Gump, Mr. Granitto worked with the Washington office of an international law firm, where he litigated on the federal level for the largest Internet service provider, utilizing computer technology in the systematic investigation and identification of individuals engaged in the transmission of unsolicited bulk e-mail, computer fraud and the theft of computer services.

Previously, Mr. Granitto was an associate at another law firm in Washington, where he litigated contract, negligence, products liability, unfair competition, trade secrets and licensing matters on the federal, state and appellate levels.

Mr. Granitto received his B.A. from John Carroll University in 1982 and his J.D. from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in 1986. He is a member of the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia bars and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court and the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.
