- representation of RusAl in its multi-billion dollar merger with Sual Group and with certain aluminium assets of Glencore International
- representation of Nestlé S.A. in its acquisition for €560 million of “powwow”, the pan-European drinking water business of Hutchison Whampoa Limited
- representation of the sellers in the $2.3 billion sale of ATF Bank, one of the largest banks in Kazakhstan, to the Unicredit financial services group
- representation of BLB Investors Inc. (a consortium established by Starwood Capital and others) in its takeover bid under the UK City Code on Takeovers and Mergers for Wembley PLC, a company listed on the LSE Main Market

- representation of Petroneft Resources plc, an international oil and gas company with assets in Western Siberia, on its IPO and dual listing on AIM and IEX
- representation of the Government of the State of Qatar, Credit Suisse First Boston and Qatar Telecom Q.S.C. (Q-Tel), the national telecommunications company of the State of Qatar, in the privatization and initial public offering of Q-Tel. He is chairman of the Legal Committee of The Oil Council, a member of the Europe and Africa Committee of AIPN and a member of the Legal Advisory Task Force to the Energy Charter Secretariat in Brussels.
