Galit Knotz's practice focuses on labor and employment matters.
Ms. Knotz is currently a member of the Los Angeles office’s diversity committee.
Ms. Knotz received a B.A. with honors from the University of California, Berkeley, in 2001 and her J.D. cum laude from Cornell University Law School in 2007. At Cornell, Ms. Knotz served as a note editor for the Cornell International Law Journal, as a staff editor for the Legal Information Institute and as president of the Women’s Law Association. Ms. Knotz has also served as an extern to the Honorable R. Gary Klausner of the United States District Court, Central District of California.
Ms. Knotz's publications include Protecting Our Children or Our Pride? Regulating the Intercountry Adoption of American Children, 40 Cornell Int'l L.J. 489 (2007), and Reconciling Branzburg and Daily Mail: A Proposal for a Qualified Reporters' Privilege, 32 Ohio N.U.L. Rev. 503 (2006), co-authored with Rex S. Heinke.
Ms. Knotz is a member of the California Bar.
