Jamie L. Berger’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and white collar criminal defense.
Ms. Berger has litigated and advised clients in a wide variety of areas, including contracts, antitrust, securities and creditors’ rights in complex Chapter 11 cases. She has also represented clients in government and regulatory investigations involving alleged securities fraud, accounting fraud and tax fraud. Ms. Berger’s clients have come from a variety of industries, including finance, energy, communications, transportation, entertainment and real estate.
Ms. Berger received her B.A. cum laude in psychology in 1999 from the University of Pennsylvania and her J.D. cum laude in 2003 from Tulane Law School, where she served as a chairperson of the Tulane Moot Court Board and as a student fellow for the trial advocacy program. Ms. Berger was awarded membership in the Order of Barristers for excellence in the art of courtroom advocacy.
Ms. Berger is a member of the New York Bar and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
