Jessica S. Budoff’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and white collar criminal defense matters.
Prior to joining Akin Gump, Ms. Budoff served as a law clerk to the Honorable Brian M. Cogan of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
Ms. Budoff received her B.A. in 2001 from Duke University and her J.D. in 2005 from Cornell Law School, where she served as chancellor of the Cornell Moot Court Board and was a member of the Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy. She was the winner of the Langfan Family First-Year Moot Court Competition, the Winter Cup Moot Court Competition and a finalist in the Cuccia Cup Moot Court Competition.
Ms. Budoff is a member of the New York Bar and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
