Joshua Hedrick’s practice focuses on litigation matters.
Prior to joining Akin Gump, Mr. Hedrick served as a law clerk from 2007 to 2008 for the Honorable Ed Kinkeade of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas in Dallas. While in law school, Mr. Hedrick served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Justice Bob Pemberton of the Texas Third Court of Appeals in Austin.
Mr. Hedrick received his B.A. with honors in political science from the University of Missouri in 2004. He received his J.D. cum laude in 2007 from Baylor University, where he was an executive editor for the Baylor Law Review. While in law school, Mr. Hedrick was an active member of Baylor’s moot court and mock trial teams, winning numerous awards including the 2007 American Association for Justice (formerly ATLA) Mock Trial National Championship. Mr. Hedrick currently serves as an assistant coach to the Baylor mock trial team.
Mr. Hedrick is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Dallas Bar Association and the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers. He is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
