Jamie Anderson focuses on issues of importance in the health care industry. Ms. Anderson represents major academic medical centers, hospitals, pharmaceutical companies and other health industry participants. Her practice includes assisting clients with fraud and abuse compliance issues; Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement issues; and issues arising under state, federal and international privacy laws and regulations. Ms. Anderson also advises clients on major health care initiatives, including the Affordable Care Act of 2010.
Immediately prior to joining Akin Gump, Ms. Anderson worked for a physician practice management group, advising the group on compliance and regulatory issues.
Ms. Anderson received her B.A. from the George Washington University in 1999 and her J.D. from the American University, Washington College of Law in 2004. She is a member of the Pennsylvania and District of Columbia bars.
