Jean Lu focuses her practice on corporate and securities law, with an emphasis on investment funds and private equity.
Ms. Lu is currently a member of the Dallas office’s diversity committee.
Ms. Lu received her B.S. summa cum laude in management information systems from Wright State University. She received her J.D. cum laude from Northwestern University, where she was awarded the John Henry Wigmore Scholarship and the Pritzker Faculty Research Fellowship.
At Northwestern, Ms. Lu served as a senior editor of the Northwestern Journal of International Law and Business, a vice president of the Business Law Association and a director on the board of the Small Business Opportunity Center. She also served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Marvin E. Aspen of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
Ms. Lu is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Dallas Bar Association and the Dallas Asian-American Bar Association.
Ms. Lu is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
