In 2010, Mr. Savin was recognized by Turnarounds & Workouts as one of its Outstanding Young Restructuring Lawyers and by Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business as a leading lawyer in the area of bankruptcy/restructuring. Law360 also acknowledged Mr. Savin as a standout in the area of bankruptcy in 2010, naming him to its list of “Rising Stars.” In addition, in 2009, Mr. Savin was selected by the Washington Business Journal as the Top Washington Lawyer in Bankruptcy.
Mr. Savin received his B.S. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1994 and his J.D. in 1997 from the Emory University School of Law, where he was a member of the Emory Law Journal. He is a member of the District of Columbia and New York bars and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
