Julie Street focuses her practice on corporate and securities matters as well as general business law. She has experience with the corporate aspects of financial restructurings, both in and out of chapter 11.
Ms. Street previously worked at the Texas State Legislature as a policy analyst for the Texas Senate Business & Commerce Committee.
Ms. Street received her B.A. summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Texas Christian University in 1998 and her M.A. from the University of Texas in 2001. She received her J.D. from the University of Texas in 2007, where she graduated with high honors and as a member of Order of the Coif.
Ms. Street is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Austin Bar Association, the Austin Young Lawyers Association and the Travis County Women Lawyers' Association. She is also involved with Young Friends of Communities In Schools and provides pro bono legal services to Texas C-Bar.
