Kevin R. Amer's practice focuses on appellate litigation before the Supreme Court of the United States and federal courts of appeals.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Amer served as a law clerk to the Honorable Charles R. Wilson of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. From 2005 to 2007, he served as a trial attorney in the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. In that capacity, he represented the United States in litigation involving unlawful discrimination in public education.
Mr. Amer received a J.D. from Yale Law School in 2003 and an A.B., magna cum laude, in history and literature from Harvard University in 1999. He is a member of the New York and District of Columbia bars.
