Kamran Salour, Associate

Kamran Salour’s practice focuses on commercial and intellectual property litigation. He has represented his clients in a variety of litigation matters, including defending clients against contract, business tort, fraud and unfair competition claims. In addition, he has significant experience in intellectual property matters, including defending clients against patent, trademark and copyright infringement claims and enforcing his clients’ intellectual property rights. He represents clients through all stages of litigation in both state and federal court and has successfully argued numerous motions.

Selected representative matters include—

  • representation of a leading video game developer and publisher in breach of contract action
  • representation of an energy drink manufacturer in a breach of contract, unfair competition, trademark infringement and counterfeiting case in which a dismissal of all monetary claims for relief was obtained
  • representation of a leading international toy manufacturer and its North American distributor in a design patent and copyright infringement action
  • representation of a leading international toy manufacturer and its North American distributor in a patent, copyright and trademark infringement action
  • representation of a leading international toy manufacturer and its North American distributor in a patent, copyright and trade dress infringement action.

Mr. Salour earned his J.D. with honors from Emory University School of Law in 2006, where he received the Gunster, Yoakley & Stewart Best Oralist Award and the ABA/BNA Award for Excellence in the Study of Intellectual Property. He was a member of the National Moot Court Team and a participant in the TI:GER program, a law/business cross-disciplinary technology commercialization program. Mr. Salour earned his B.S. in microbiology and molecular genetics from the University of California at Los Angeles in 2001.
