Lauren R. Bates’ practice covers a variety of civil and criminal litigation matters, including government contract disputes, class actions and antitrust litigation.
Ms. Bates received her B.A. in economics with a minor in chemistry from Dartmouth College in 2003. She received her J.D. in 2006 from the University of Virginia School of Law, where she was an executive editor of the Virginia Journal of Social Policy & the Law and a copy editor of the Virginia Journal of Law & Technology. While in law school, Ms. Bates was a law clerk at the Department of Justice, Federal Programs Branch. She is a member of the District of Columbia and Virginia Bars.
