Marla S. Axelrod’s practice covers a variety of labor and employment matters. Ms. Axelrod has experience representing clients in state and federal courts, before administrative agencies such as the National Labor Relations Board, and in labor arbitration proceedings. Ms. Axelrod also provides counseling on a wide range of issues, including the negotiation and administration of collective bargaining agreements and compliance with state and federal statutes. Ms. Axelrod also has worked on large wage and hour class action cases.
Ms. Axelrod received her B.A. magna cum laude in 2003 from Duke University and her J.D. with high honors in 2006 from Duke Law School, where she earned membership in Order of the Coif and served as an articles editor of Law & Contemporary Problems. Ms. Axelrod is a member of the District of Columbia, Pennsylvania, and Virginia bars.
