Manfred "Manny" Perera focuses his practice on domestic and international project development and finance, with particular emphasis on Latin America. His areas of practice cover a broad range of business and financial matters, including representations of developers and investors in the construction, development, acquisition and financing of renewable energy generation facilities.

Before beginning his legal career, Mr. Perera held a management position with a large multinational consulting firm where he specialized in management of technology projects for clients in the media and entertainment market.

In 2007, Mr. Perera received his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where he was note editor and executive board member of the Hastings Business Law Journal. During law school, Mr. Perera served a judicial externship with Hon. Patrick J. Walsh, magistrate judge, U.S. District Court, Central District of California. Additionally, he was a member of the Hastings negotiation team that placed second in the International Chamber of Commerce's Mediation Competition held in Paris, France. Mr. Perera was also a recipient of the American Bar Association Section of Business Law Scholarship. Mr. Perera received his B.S. in business administration, with an emphasis on finance, real estate and law from the California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, where he was president of the Latino Business Students' Association and vice president of the Business Senate.

Mr. Perera is a deputy regional vice president for the National Hispanic Bar Association. He is fluent in Spanish.
