Parker Allen Lee’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and debt finance transactions in the energy and infrastructure industries. His clients include oil & gas companies, renewable energy companies, master limited partnerships, investment and commercial banks, private equity funds and hedge funds. Mr. Lee is also involved in the firm’s pro bono representation of a Latin America-focused private equity fund specializing in microfinance where he has advised on loans to coffee farming cooperatives in Mexico and Peru.
Mr. Lee earned a B.A. in history and B.B.A. in finance from the University of Texas at Austin in 2006. He earned a J.D. with honors from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in 2010. During law school, Mr. Lee was a guest student at La Universidad del Salvador in Buenos Aires, Argentina and also clerked in the corporate section of a large Argentine law firm. Prior to joining Akin Gump, Mr. Lee worked domestically in the investment banking industry and internationally in the tourism industry.
Mr. Lee is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Houston Young Lawyers Association and the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators.
