J. Patrick Tielborg, P.C. is Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
Mr. Tielborg is managing director and general counsel of the Pipe Line Contractors Association. He also is co-counsel for the following multiemployer plans: the International Union of Operating Engineers and Employers Health & Welfare Fund; the Teamsters National Pipeline Training Fund; the Laborers National Pension Fund; the Laborers-Employers Benefit Plan Collection Trust; and the Pipeline Industry Benefit/Pension Funds.
Mr. Tielborg is the author of "Handbilling and the First Amendment: A Symbiotic Relationship? The Impact of Debartolo v. Florida Building Trades Council," 41 Labor L.J. 235 (1990) and "'Open Sesame,' Congress Must Say the Magic Words," 42 Labor L.J. 718 (1991).
Mr. Tielborg received his B.A. in 1970 from the University of Alaska, his J.D. from the St. Mary's University School of Law in 1978 and his LL.M. from the Southern Methodist University School of Law in 1991. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Dallas Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Mr. Tielborg served in the U.S. Air Force from 1962 to 1966.
