Robert W. Aulsebrook focuses on international debt finance, capital markets, derivatives and corporate matters. Mr. Aulsebrook’s clients include oil and gas companies, investment funds and fund managers, telecommunications companies, minerals and raw materials companies, and financial institutions.
Mr. Aulsebrook advises borrowers and lenders on a wide range of international debt financing transactions in the London market, including term and revolving loan facilities, secured and unsecured loans, acquisition finance and project finance. He acts for issuers in the debt and equity capital markets, including the issue and listing of shares, depository receipts, Eurobonds, convertible debt securities and commercial paper. He also advises clients on hedging arrangements.
Mr. Aulsebrook advises investment fund managers, hedge funds and private equity funds on a variety of trade and finance transactions. He advises on prime brokerage terms, securities lending and repurchase arrangements, ISDA documentation, futures trading and other trade-related documentation.
Fluent in Russian, he advises extensively on financing and investment in Russia and elsewhere in the former republics of the Soviet Union.
Mr. Aulsebrook received his B.A. magna cum laude in economics and Russian from Vanderbilt University in 1986 and his J.D. cum laude from the Georgetown University Law Center in 1989. He was admitted as a solicitor of England and Wales in 1999. He is also a member of the New York State Bar.
