Steven Kahn’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions and other corporate matters. Mr. Kahn principally represents private equity funds and their portfolio companies in leveraged buyouts, mergers, strategic investments, growth financings, sales and divestitures and recapitalizations. Mr. Kahn also advises on corporate governance matters, management incentive plans, restructurings and liquidity events.
Mr. Kahn received his A.B. cum laude in 1989 from Harvard University and his J.D. cum laude in 1994 from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif and served as an editor of the University of Pennsylvania Law Review.
Mr. Kahn was a law clerk to the Honorable A. Raymond Randolph of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit. He is a member of the New York Bar and the California Bar (inactive).
