Stacy Kobrick focuses her practice on complex civil and criminal litigation. She has experience representing clients facing various forms of government investigation and civil proceedings by the Federal Trade Commission and the Securities and Exchange Commission, as well as prosecution by the U.S. Department of Justice. Ms. Kobrick also has experience managing discovery in complex civil litigation, including electronic discovery.

Prior to joining Akin Gump, Ms. Kobrick served as legislative counsel to Congressman Jack Quinn.

Ms. Kobrick received her B.A. in political science and economics from Binghamton University in 1995. She received her J.D. in 1999 from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law, where she served as executive editor of the Buffalo Human Rights Law Review. She received her LL.M. in international law from Georgetown University Law Center in 2001.

Ms. Kobrick is a member of the District of Columbia Bar and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit.
