Sasha L. Azar assists clients in a variety of transactional matters across a wide range of industries. Mr. Azar focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance matters and finance.
Prior to developing an international transactional practice in Washington, D.C., Mr. Azar practiced corporate litigation in Delaware, representing large institutional clients. His corporate litigation background and transactional experience combine to make him both an effective deal lawyer and a skilled advocate.
Mr. Azar received his B.S. from Duke University in 1995 and his J.D. in 2001 from Temple Law School, where he was a member of the Political and Civil Rights Law Review.
Mr. Azar is fluent in spoken Farsi and conversational in German and Owambo, a language spoken in Namibia and southern Angola. He is a member of the District of Columbia, Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey bars.
