Vivek Arora’s practice focuses on labor and employment matters, including employment discrimination, wage and hour, and occupational safety and health litigation. Mr. Arora counsels clients on matters arising under various labor and employment statutes, including the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Occupational Safety and Health Act, the National Labor Relations Act and the Worker Adjustment Retraining and Notification Act. He also represents clients in occupational safety and health regulatory investigations and assists them with internal investigations of workplace accidents and fatalities. Actively involved in the firm’s pro bono practice, he also has represented clients in employment and income assistance matters.
Mr. Arora received his B.S. cum laude in 2003 from the University of Pennsylvania. He earned his J.D. in 2006 from Columbia Law School, where he was a writing and research editor of the Journal of Law and Social Problems and a Harlan Fisk Stone Scholar.
Mr. Arora is a member of the Maryland and District of Columbia Bars and admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
