Wilson Meeks’ practice focuses on commercial litigation and white collar defense. Among other matters, he has recently represented clients in actions relating to securities fraud, breach of contract, bankruptcy, and investigations by securities regulators.

Prior to returning to Akin Gump in the fall of 2010, Mr. Meeks served as a law clerk to the Honorable James Robertson of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia (2008-2009), and to the Honorable Dolores K. Sloviter of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit (2009-2010).

Mr. Meeks received his J.D. from Columbia Law School in 2007, where he was a Kent Scholar and a Harlan Fisk Stone Scholar, and received the Samuel I. Rosenman and Milton B. Conford Book prizes. He also served as the head writing and research editor for the Columbia Journal of Law and Social Problems.
