The firm’s annual evaluation process begins with a self-evaluation written by each associate. Partners and counsel are then asked to evaluate associates’ progress in mastering the Core Competencies for their level and provide suggestions for continued development in the coming year.
In-person evaluation meetings are held with associates to review feedback gathered from supervising attorneys and to discuss future goals. Significant time is invested in our formal evaluation process so that associates can perform at the highest level, continue to advance in their careers and provide clients with the best possible work. While the formal evaluation process ensures that all associates and counsel are informed of their progress, the firm expects and encourages ongoing feedback throughout the year as projects are completed.
