Students - Akin Gump/Robert Strauss Diversity Scholarship

Application Process

To be considered for the Akin Gump/Robert Strauss Diversity Scholarship, please submit the following materials:

  • completed application form (stating office preference)
  • current resume
  • law school transcript
  • legal writing sample.
  • personal statement (no more than 750 words) describing your demonstrated academic and leadership achievements and commitment to diversity
  • contact information for three academic or professional references.

Applications for the program will be accepted and considered on a rolling basis between July 2, 2018 and September 28, 2018. Candidates may apply to, and be considered by, only one Akin Gump office. Please click here for instructions on how to submit your application.
