Students - Akin Gump/Robert Strauss Diversity Scholarship

Application Process

Law students interested in the Akin Gump/Robert Strauss Diversity Scholarship must submit the following materials in order to be considered:

  • A completed application form (stating office preference), current resume and law school transcript.To access the application for the Akin Gump / Robert Strauss Diversity Scholarship, please click here.
  • A personal statement (no more than 750 words) describing the applicant’s demonstrated academic and leadership achievements and commitment to diversity
  • A legal writing sample
  • Contact information for three academic or professional references
  • Applications for the program will be accepted, and considered on a rolling basis, between July 1, 2017 and September 29, 2017. Candidates may apply to, and be considered by, only one Akin Gump office.
