Akin Shortlisted in Five Categories for IFLR Middle East Awards 2023

Akin has been shortlisted in five categories for the IFLR Middle East Awards 2023, among them, Restructuring Team of the Year, Restructuring Deal of the Year and Loan Team of the Year.

Akin’s award-winning OverRuled platform has been shortlisted in the Tech Innovation category. The interactive platform allows practitioners to sustain compliance in a world of complex international trade rules and has already received recognition from a number of legal and general media organizations, including Financial Times, which awarded OverRuled “standout” status in its 2022 North America Innovative Lawyers report.

The firm’s international pro bono practice has also been shortlisted in the Pro Bono Firm of the Year category for its work across a number of projects, including Afghan Asylum Seekers, Ukraine Refugee Response, and Advocates for Human Rights.

The IFLR Middle East Awards will be presented on October 17 in Dubai.
