Alex Poor is an associate in the corporate practice.
Practice & Background
Mr. Poor’s practice focuses on public and private mergers and acquisitions, public and private offerings of debt and equity securities, corporate governance, and general corporate and securities matters.
Mr. Poor received his B.S. and M.S. from Trinity University and his J.D. from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, where he graduated as the salutatorian and was a member of the Order of the Coif. While in law school, he also served as administrative managing editor of the SMU Law Review Association and was published in the SMU Law Review.
Mr. Poor is a Certified Public Accountant, and, prior to attending law school, he worked as an audit associate for an international public accounting firm.
Mr. Poor volunteers his time and services to the Human Rights Initiative of North Texas.
