David M. Coleman is an associate in the litigation practice.

Practice & Background

Mr. Coleman’s practice focuses on a variety of litigation matters, including civil litigation, government investigations, and criminal defense. Mr. Coleman has assisted individual and corporate clients in matters before state and federal courts and administrative agencies.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Coleman completed a two-year clerkship for Judge Lynn N. Hughes of the Southern District of Texas, where he managed one-half of the docket. The cases included contracts, securities, insurance, maritime, energy, and criminal matters.

Mr. Coleman is also a commissioned officer in the United States Army Reserve. He is a distinguished graduate of the Army’s Direct Commission Course and Judge Advocate Officer Basic Course.

Mr. Coleman received his J.D. from Duke University School of Law in 2012 and was a member of our 2011 summer-associate class.
