Biography
  • Represents clients in mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions.
  • Advises public and private companies, investment banks and private equity investors.
  • Significant experience in sophisticated cross-border transactions with a China focus.

Dennis Yeung is a senior counsel in Akin’s Beijing office. He is experienced in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital markets transactions and corporate finance.

Dennis advises clients on capital market financing, initial public offerings (IPO), M&A of listed and private companies, private equity investment and regulatory compliance of Hong Kong listed companies. Over the years, Dennis has advised numerous mainland China and Hong Kong public and private companies, investment banks and private equity investors on sophisticated cross-border transactions. Dennis is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

Representative Work
  • Acting as U.S. legal adviser for the joint sponsors in the IPO and listing of a Beijing-based leading provider of integrated medical service, medical technology, medical equipment, Internet medicine and medical investment on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
  • Acting for a company located in Fujian that is authorized to operate in China by a leading American children’s clothing brand with the joint investment from one of the largest operators of children’s clothing brands in the U.S., a leading Chinese fabric company and a Chinese company that is one of the largest manufacturers of children’s clothing brands in the world, in its IPO and listing on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
  • Acting for the sponsor in the IPO and listing of the third largest landscaping company in Nanjing on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
  • Acting for the sponsor in the IPO and listing of a leading company in the comprehensive utilization of industrial solid waste in Jiangsu province on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
  • Acting for the sponsor in the IPO and listing of a well-known marble mining and processing company in Jiangxi province on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
  • Acting for the sponsor in the IPO and listing of a well-known marble mining and processing company in Liaoning province on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
  • Acting for the sponsor in the IPO and listing of a Wuxi-based leading plastic manufacturing company on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
  • Acting for the sole sponsor in the IPO and listing of a leading real estate promotion and creative marketing high-tech company in Changsha on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
