Shawn Beloin’s practice focuses on acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and strategic transactions for public and private companies in the energy industry.

Practice & Background

Mr. Beloin advises clients on a variety of oil and gas matters including purchase and sale agreements, joint exploration and development agreements, lease acquisition agreements, joint operating agreements and production sharing agreements.

Mr. Beloin grew up in Marietta, Georgia, attending Kennesaw Mountain High School before heading to the University of South Carolina. While in college he majored in finance with supplemental concentrations in accounting and economics. Mr. Beloin was a regular Dean's List and Honor Roll student, graduating Magna Cum Laude while also being inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and Golden Key Honor Societies. He went straight from his undergraduate work into his legal studies at Southern Methodist University's Dedman School of Law in Dallas, Texas. While there, he served as the President of Phi Alpha Delta, volunteered his time with the Innocence Project of Texas and was an active member of the Energy Law Association.
