Gerald Brant’s practice focuses on merger and acquisition transactions, including leveraged buy-out, carve-out and other private equity transactions. He also advises investment funds and companies on shareholder activism and defense matters.  In addition, Mr. Brant represents both financial and strategic clients on a variety of other corporate matters including corporate governance, fiduciary and securities issues. 

Mr. Brant received his B.A. magna cum laude in 2004 from Columbia University and his J.D. in 2007 from Columbia Law School, where he served as a staff member of the Columbia Business Law Review.
