Inderveer K. Hothi’s practice focuses on providing English law advice on a broad range of finance transactions, including cross-border acquisitions, leveraged finance transactions, corporate finance transactions, aircraft finance transactions and project finance transactions. She has represented corporate clients and financial institutions covering a variety of industries and jurisdictions, particularly in emerging markets.
Practice & Background
Having trained at a “magic circle” law firm in London, Miss Hothi was admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2009. She worked as an associate at the Singapore office of the same firm prior to joining Akin Gump in 2012.
Miss Hothi received her LLB, First Class Honours, from the University of Sheffield in 2006. She subsequently gained a distinction in the Legal Practice Course from the College of Law, London in 2007.
Ms. Hothi’s engagements include:
- advised LUKOIL subsidiary, Lukinter Finance B.V. on a US$300 million revolving credit facility with ING Bank
- advising LUKOIL on a US$500 million financing for the Gissar gas field in Uzbekistan
- advising LUKOIL International Finance B.V. PJSC "LUKOIL": Rule 144A/Regulation S offering of $1 billion, 10 year 4.750% notes by LUKOIL International Finance B.V. and guaranteed by PJSC "LUKOIL"
